EVA CRAWFORD
Eva Crawford is an award-winning artist with a BFA from UNC-Chapel Hill and a lifetime of art making. Her interactions with former high school students and her own 5 children, which include a son from Uganda, taught Crawford to make art about human stories. Additionally, her exposure to those navigating mental illness compel her to pay attention to other’s feelings and their need to be understood. Therefore, Crawford’s art is largely portraiture.
Crawford is also a certified Kintsugi Experience facilitator with experience leading healing workshops in Mumbai, India and throughout the US. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of mending broken vessels using gold lacquer to emphasize the scars while creating something new. Crawford leads a modernized experience to introduce the concept of looking at brokenness in our world and beholding the potential beauty.
